Dimension Development Names Rob Kravitz as General Manager of the Courtyard by Marriott Santa Ana Orange County, CA

Rob is excited to return to the hotel industry as a General Manager with Dimension Development. He has a long and distinguished career in hospitality. Most recently, he served as Executive Director for Revel Nevada, a new independent living community for seniors in Henderson, Nevada where he oversaw the pre-opening and opening process. Prior to this, Rob was with Starwood Hotels and Resorts for 24 years where he served in many leadership roles to include Director of Rooms at the Westin City Center Dallas and Director of Operations at the Westin Park Central in Dallas. He was also the General Manager for the Sheraton St. Louis where he produced impressive results in rooms, F&B, and guest satisfaction. Rob also participated in the rollout of Six Sigma for Starwood Hotels, a process improvement initiative. Whitney has a distinguished career in hospitality. Most recently, she served as Assistant General Manager of the Doubletree by Hilton Sunrise-Sawgrass Mills Hotel in Sunrise, FL. Prior to this position, Whitney served as an Assistant General Manager and Task Force General Manager for the Hilton Lexington Suites in Lexington, KY, over a ten-year period, in which she led the hotel to achieve significant achievements in occupancy levels, guest satisfaction levels and loyalty scores.

Most recently, he served as Director of Procurement and Strategic Supply for John Q Hammons Hotels and Resorts, LLC where he under took the task of centralizing the spend for supplier consolidation, product and service standardizations to leverage the spend for 78 Hotels. Prior to JQH, he spent 13 years with AMC theatres in NYC and Kansas City where he took part in the new construction of over 45 new buildings across the country ranging from 6 to 30 screens. His experience in design and capital equipment was gained over the years working with Ogden Entertainment Service Corp. supplying kitchen capital equipment, sundry FF&E and operational supplies for major sports stadiums, arenas, convention centers, race tracks and zoos. Other renovation experience was gained with Nikko Hotels, USA for the renovation of the Essex House in NYC on Central Park.
