Nate Philippsen

Corporate Director of eCommerce

nate-philippsen-fullNate Philippsen comes to Dimension Development with over 12 years of hospitality experience. Nate has worked in almost every position in the hotel & restaurant industry. Nate began his career in culinary where he graduated from Le Cordon Bleu in Minneapolis, MN. Soon after he opened a pastry shop in Bogota, Colombia. During his time there he designed menus and trained staff for local restaurants. Afterwards, he graduated from Purdue University and moved into operations. He began working for Hyatt hotels and then onto Assistant General Manager rolls for IHG & Marriott properties. Nate’s knowledge of technology & digital trends lead him to eCommerce and Digital Marketing. Most recently he served the eCommerce Manager for Winegardner & Hammons. Nate is a Certified Hospitality Digital Marketer, by HSMAI and sits on Marriott Digital Advisory Council, a board that consists 15 franchisees that provides direction & feedback for all digital areas to Marriott and the Marriott Franchise Committee, a committee consisting of 45 franchisees that collaborate with Marriott and each other to drive digital engagement across all hotels and all Brands.

Today, Nate is Corporate Director of eCommerce at Dimension and responsible for digital marketing, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), social media, reputation management & channel optimization.

In Nate’s free time he enjoys gardening, boating, traveling and spending time with his wife and daughter.
